Troubleshooting

Before anything else: start a new conversation and ask again, clearly. A surprising share of odd behaviour is a conversation that has drifted, and a fresh one costs nothing.

It does not respond, or stops halfway

Wait a few seconds, then reload the page. Your conversation is saved — you will not lose it.

If it happens twice in a row, try a different model from the picker. If that works, tell Daniel which model was failing.

It says it cannot see our customers or jobs

That is correct, and not a fault. It has no access to business records today. See what it can do. Asking differently will not change it — the limit is in the system, not in the phrasing.

A document will not upload

The answer is wrong

It can be fluent and wrong; that is the nature of the tool rather than a fault to report — unless it is consistently wrong about the same thing, which is worth telling Daniel.

What helps:

It changed formatting I wanted kept

Always ask: "List the changes you made, and anything you could not preserve."

Next time, say up front what must not change. See Working with documents.

A conversation has disappeared

Check the search box — the history is searchable and long lists scroll. Conversations are stored per person, so a colleague's conversation will never appear in yours.

If something you are sure existed is genuinely gone, tell Daniel soon: there is a nightly backup, and the sooner it is known the easier it is to recover.

Login problems

See Logging in.

The interface is in the wrong language

Settings → General → Language. Note this changes the buttons and menus only — the assistant replies in whatever language you write to it in.

Having a problem? Send this

Send Daniel:

Do not send passwords, verification codes, or confidential material that is not needed to explain the problem.

Ask in whichever language you prefer.
