You sign in with your Uni-edit Microsoft account. Press "Sign in with Uni-edit" and Microsoft does the rest. There is no separate password for this tool, nothing to reset, and nothing to forget.
That is the whole process. Afterwards you stay signed in on that browser.
The first time you sign in to anything Microsoft, you will be asked to set up multi-factor authentication — a code or an approval on your phone.
Please do this separately, before you try the assistant. Daniel will help, in your language. It is a one-off, it is a company-wide security requirement rather than anything to do with this tool, and getting it out of the way first means your first minutes here are spent on the assistant instead of on a security setup.
Settings → General → Language.
Traditional Chinese, Japanese, French and English are all there, and Traditional Chinese is a separate choice from Simplified, so you will not be given the wrong one.
Two things worth knowing:
"You can't get there from here" or a refusal after signing in. Only named staff can use the portal. If you should have access and do not, tell Daniel — it is a one-line fix, not a reinstallation.
It sends you back to the sign-in page in a loop. Sign out completely, close the tab, and try again in a private window. If it still loops, tell Daniel; this happened once during setup and had a specific cause that is now fixed.
You cannot get past the phone code. That is the multi-factor step, not this tool. Daniel can help you re-register your phone.
Never share your password or a verification code with anyone, including anyone who says they are from Uni-edit or from Microsoft. Nobody will ever ask you for a code.
